About Corélie Royce Malcaba

I began painting in oils in 1977, at the age of nine, under the instruction of Margaret Parr Eignus, an artist and former missionary to Africa. She had a profound impact on me, not just artistically but personally in the way she shared her knowledge, techniques and wisdom without reservation.  She encouraged me to paint from my mind, but also to seek inspiration from nature. Later in life, I studied watercolor with Catherine Anderson, abstract painting with Sharon Satterwhite and landscape painting with Steve Parker.  Some of my work has been exhibited at the Watercolor Art Society of Houston and the local offices of Schlumberger. I am a member of Oil Painters of America. I hope you enjoy perusing my Gallery.
