“Creativity takes courage.”

About Corélie Royce Malcaba
I began painting in oils at the age of nine under the instruction of Margaret Parr Eignus, an artist and former missionary to Africa.
She had a profound impact on me, not just artistically but personally in the way she shared her knowledge, techniques and wisdom without reservation. She encouraged me to paint from my mind, but also to seek inspiration from nature. Later in life, I studied watercolor with Catherine Anderson, abstract painting with Sharon Satterwhite and landscape techniques with Steve Parker. Some of my work has been exhibited at the Watercolor Art Society of Houston and the local offices of Schlumberger.
Creativity as a means of personal expression, in its many shapes and forms, is not just for the select few. It resides in all of us. I hope you enjoy perusing my Gallery, and that it will inspire you to find your own creative gifts.
